[ ] Digital Voice Recorder - Used for capturing Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVP. [ ] Spirit Box / White Noise Generator - Used for real-time communication. [ ] Flashlight - High-lumen tactical light with fresh batteries. [ ] Camera - DSLR or high-end point-and-shoot. - Bring memory cards and spare batteries. [ ] Tripod - Used for steady photography and video. [ ] Infrared Thermometer / Thermal Camera - Detects sudden temperature drops, also called cold spots. [ ] Motion Sensors - Detect movement when you are not looking. [ ] Notepad & Pen - Used for immediate logging of observations.
